About This Location
Our flagship store in the historic old town of Glückstadt on the Elbe, the first Elbe Akustik location since August 2020. In the long-established building of the Siemonsen company at Stadtstraße 1, we offer hearing aid consultation, fitting and personal service. Founder Jann Clausen (B.Sc. Optics & Hearing Acoustics) and his team serve customers from Glückstadt, Krempe, Breitenburg and the entire Steinburg district. From Krempe you reach us in about 10 minutes, from Elmshorn in about 20. As an owner-run specialist store, we put personal care first.

What to Expect
This is where Elbe-Akustik started in August 2020, at Stadtstraße 1 in the heart of the old town.
Hearing Test with Video Otoscopy
First we look at both ear canals with the video otoscope. Then come pure-tone and speech audiometry. We explain the result to you right afterwards. The hearing test is free and takes about 15 minutes. You do not need a prescription for it.
In-the-Ear Hearing Aids from an Impression
An in-the-ear hearing aid is built from an impression of your ear canal. The small styles sit so deep in the ear that they are barely visible from outside. The first appointment already shows whether your ear canal has enough room for one. We do a lot of the work in our own laboratory.
Hearing Aids from Other Audiologists
You are welcome here even if you bought your hearing aids elsewhere. We compare the settings with your current hearing test. Often there is still something to improve.
Trial Wearing and Health Insurance
Before you decide, you wear hearing aids on trial free of charge, at home too. We are partners of all health insurance companies and bill the insurer's share directly to your insurer.
